Happy 2015
We spent New Year's Eve at the Romans' house. We played lots of games, ate a TON of yummy food, laughed a lot, and counted down at midnight.
On New Years Day we went to breakfast with Talesha, Austin, Donny, and NiCole.
We laughed til we cried and ate til we couldn't eat any more.
It was so much fun to catch up with the Greens!
Out With The Old, In With The New
We decided it was time to trade in our natural gas 2002 Civic. We scored a sweet year end deal on a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta! We love it!!
Nutcracker
I was able to take Alaria on a date to the Nutcracker. We had 2nd row seats which were amazing! It was so fun and now that she is in ballet she loved it even more than last time. She made a lot of comments like "look how pretty her feet are". It was so much fun. We topped the day off with chocolate shakes.
We didn't get pictures, but Cole and Kris also had a date to see the new Hobbit movie and we both took Josh and Claire to Cafe Rio and Ritas, which was followed by Christmas lights and Josh getting to stay up and play video games!

blanket in shopping cart
I really needed to run to the store for a couple of things and Claire did not want to go with me. Finally I said she could wear her PJs. She went and got a beach towel to bring in the car, and I paid no attention to it. She insisted on bringing the towel inside, and as soon as we got in, she spread it out and laid down in the cart while I shopped. I loved that she schemed up this little plan!
Wax Museum Nov 15
November 15 was Cole's 5th grade wax museum. He chose to be Abraham Lincoln. He had to dress up, have 10 facts memorized for when someone pushed the button at his booth, and put together a display board. He did such a great job! We were so proud of him!
